CURRENT PHARMACEUTICAL LOGISTICS OF MEDICAL IMMUNOBIOLOGICALS IN RUSSIA

The current logistics of medical immunobiologicals is considered using vaccines as an example. It is shown that the requirements for special coldchain conditions for their storage and transportation must be also applied to all groups of medical immunobiologicals, for their efficiency and safety for patients depend on temperature observance. Consequently, the temperature conditions must be strictly observed by all logistic chain participants: a manufacturer, a transport company, a distributor, a pharmacy, a healthcare facility (4 cold-chain levels). The paper gives requirements for the selection of a carrier and those for refrigerator equipment, as well as rules for refrigerator truck control.
