Bioregulatory medicine that combines a systems approach with the support of the autoregulatory system as basic therapy is a comprehensive approach to treating patients. Changing the pattern of diseases to chronic (inflammatory) dysregulation in clinical practice requires that newer approaches to therapy should be elaborated and substantiated. The theory of homotoxicology postulated by Dr. Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg has many correlations with the current cutting-edge medicoscientific concepts of systems medicine. This paper considers the theoretical bases of bioregulatory medicine.
